When Radiesse is injected superficially, it not only has a filling effect but also stimulates collagen production in the skin. This leads to improved skin texture and the disappearance of fine lines. When injected deeper, Radiesse is also ideal for combating deep wrinkles and restoring volume loss. Women may respond less effectively to Radiesse after menopause, and in such cases, hyaluronic acid is recommended.

Radiesse is used to restore volume in areas where it has diminished due to skin aging. It can fill hollow temples, enhance cheek fullness, enlarge the chin, and tighten the jawline. Additionally, it can fill and camouflage scars. Hand rejuvenation is another application of Radiesse; the product is injected into the backs of the hands, making veins and tendons much less visible, resulting in a significantly younger appearance, while also improving the skin quality of the hands. Another option is the liquid facelift. 

The results of Radiesse are immediately visible, and the effects typically last between 9 to 18 months, depending on the amount of filler used and the area treated. Collagen stimulators like Radiesse have an additional volume effect in the months following the treatment. If necessary, the effect can be enhanced through a follow-up treatment during this period.

Before a treatment, there is an intake session that includes a health screening. During this intake, the area to be treated and the method of treatment are determined. You will also be informed about the pre- and post-care associated with the treatment. 

Important pre-treatment guidelines:

• Do not consume alcohol 24 hours prior to the treatment.
• It is advised to stop taking fish oil capsules one week before the treatment to minimize the risk of bruising.
• Your medical history will be reviewed before the treatment.

Upon arrival, you will be welcomed at the reception. The receptionist will ensure that your information is processed safely and correctly. If necessary, photos will be taken for your records. You will then wait in our waiting area until your practitioner comes to escort you. You can also choose to wait here after your treatment before heading home. A filler treatment typically lasts between 15 to 60 minutes, depending on its complexity.

Aftercare Recommendations:

• Avoid Certain Activities: It is advised to avoid sunbathing, facial massages, and the use of makeup, scrubs, peels, saunas, or tanning beds for the first few days after the treatment.
• Post-Treatment Care: For the first two weeks after the treatment, it is also advisable to refrain from connective tissue massages or treatments by a dental hygienist, dentist, or oral surgeon.
