During a consultation, you will meet the practitioner(s) and your wishes and expectations will be mapped out. This involves looking at the natural aging process of bone structures, fat and muscle tissue, and the skin. Based on this analysis and photos, a personalized treatment plan is created to ensure the best achievable result. You will always be advised honestly and comprehensively.

Skinboosters are made from hyaluronic acid. Compared to a hyaluronic acid filler, skinboosters are much softer. Hyaluronic acid is a building block of the skin that helps the body retain moisture in all weather conditions. The goal is not to create volume, but to attract moisture. This moisture improves the quality of the skin. Fine lines are reduced, the skin becomes more resilient, your skin is hydrated, and looks healthier.

Skinboosters are used to improve the skin. They address the skin’s texture, hydration, and resilience. The face, neck, décolleté, and hands are usually treated. However, it is a treatment that can improve the skin all over the body, for which we have a special body kit.

After several treatments, your skin will look more hydrated, fresher, healthier, and refined. This results in a beautiful glow. Fine lines are reduced or even disappear.

Before a treatment, a consultation including a health screening takes place. During the consultation, the area to be treated and the method of treatment are determined. You will also be informed about the pre- and post-treatment care associated with the procedure. You should not consume alcohol 24 hours prior to the treatment. We advise stopping the use of fish oil capsules one week before the treatment to minimize the risk of bruising. Additionally, your medical history will be reviewed before the treatment.

Upon arrival, you will be welcomed at the reception. The receptionist ensures the correct and safe processing of your information. If necessary, photos will be taken for your file. You will wait in our waiting area, where your practitioner will collect you. You can also relax here after your treatment before heading home. A treatment with skinboosters takes approximately 15 minutes. Initially, this treatment is done as a course of 3 sessions in a row with 3 weeks in between.

We kindly ask you not to wear makeup when coming for a treatment.

Important things to know:

• The results will not be immediately visible; multiple sessions are required. The optimal results can be seen after several weeks to months. The period in which side effects such as swelling, bruising, redness, itching, or sensitivity may occur is about 1 week. The results usually last for 12 months after the first treatment and are therefore temporary in nature. One maintenance treatment is recommended after 6 months.
• Not everyone responds to the product in the same way, and the longevity of the results varies significantly between individuals. If you feel that the effect of a particular product does not last as long as expected, discuss this with your doctor for future treatments.

Things to avoid after treatment:

• Sunbathing, facial massages, and the use of makeup, scrubs, peels, saunas, or tanning beds are discouraged in the first few days after the treatment.
• In the first 2 weeks following the treatment, it is advised to avoid connective tissue massages or any procedures with a dental hygienist, dentist, or oral surgeon.
