Types of injectables
Fillers
Fillers restore volume in areas where it has diminished due to aging. We can add volume to sunken cheeks, drooping mouth corners, and a sagging jawline. These treatments are performed based on an overall impression of your face rather than isolated zones. A lifting effect for the entire face can be achieved with a liquid facelift. All treatments are conducted in a way that minimizes the risk of bruising.
Skinboosters
A skin booster is made from hyaluronic acid. Compared to a hyaluronic acid filler, a skin booster is much softer. Its purpose is not to add volume but to attract moisture. This moisture improves the quality of the skin, reduces fine lines, increases skin elasticity, and gives your skin a healthier appearance.
Lipolysis
The double chin consists largely of fat tissue. Deoxycholic acid breaks down these fat cells. The damaged fat cells are then cleaned up and removed from the body. This leads to a permanent removal of these fat cells, resulting in a lasting outcome.
Aftercare for an injectable treatment
To enjoy the effects of injectables for as long as possible, proper aftercare is crucial. After an injectable treatment, you will receive a brochure with specific aftercare information. Aftercare varies by treatment and can differ from person to person.
Here are some general guidelines that apply to all treatments:
- Avoid touching the area treated with injectables to prevent infections caused by dirt entering the needle's entry point.
- Do not wear makeup on or around the treated area on the day of the treatment to avoid infections.
- Facial treatments, massages, and the use of peels or scrubs are not recommended in the first few days after the treatment.
- Avoid visiting the dentist, dental hygienist, or oral surgeon in the first two weeks after an injectable treatment.
